More than a holiday, Independence day.

Today is 15 August. India got its independence in 1947.


Today we take freedom for granted.


It's easier to forget who has sacrificed their lives for the country. In the hope that it will get independence one day. It's hard to forget current trendy people.


It's easier to forget those who have committed to Fast-until-Death. It's hard to forget today's movie trivial.

I couldn't understand the importance of school. I was only happy about the extra holiday. You have to study history for that. It's better to study history than to read forecasts. Studying history teaches us how the smallest decision today could be remembered for years. Either be praised or


During countless revolutions, there was no way to know whether we will be succeeded or not. Just hope.


Hope that,

One day future generations won't have to live like how they lived.


One day future generation takes the flag and run with it towards further development of themselves and the country.


One day, all citizens will have equal opportunities, irrespective of place of birth, and their cast.

That's the importance of Independence day.
